At the Rest Point Motor Inn & Hereford Steakhouse Char Grill we are in the mood to celebrate! It has been such a big 12 months in the Glen Innes region, and we have survived drought, fire and now virus! Winter has well and truly arrived, and the nights are cold, so what better way to celebrate than with an evening of festivities with a Christmas in July night. Our Christmas in July will be held on Saturday 25th July and the restaurant will be open from 6.30pm for the evening.
We are sure that our Christmas in July evening will be one of the highlights of the winter calendar since we have managed to secure the services of the incredible musical duo ‘The Mystery Dogs’ who will provide entertainment throughout the evening.
The Mystery Dogs is made up of Mark Cryle (mandolin, guitar, and vocals) and Richard Evans (guitar, harmonica, and vocals) who first began working together in the Australian band Spot the Dog. Together as The Mystery Dogs Mark & Richard play, sing and write with a rare musical empathy born of a long friendship and shared musical history. Between them they tap into a vast repertoire of songs, including some finely-crafted ones of their own.
The Mystery Dogs are sure to provide a night of toe-tapping entertainment. As well as being thoroughly entertained, the Hereford Steakhouse Char Grill will also look after you by providing 3 courses of delicious festive fare. Your meal will begin with a soup, then there will be a choice of roast, turkey, ham or beef for mains and a choice of pavlova or plum pudding for dessert. Guests will also receive a glass of French sparkling wine on arrival.
The evening is $50 per adult and $15 per child.
