New spring menu is now being served at the Hereford Steakhouse Char Grill

We would like to reassure everyone that the Hereford Steakhouse Char Grill is open and operating as per usual and in accordance with all current government restrictions and guidelines. We continue to maintain a COVID-safe environment for our staff and guests.

Spring has arrived in Glen Innes and it has been a spectacular start to the season with Glen Innes being away in a sea of blossoms and colour. We hope to see you soon at the Hereford Steakhouse Char Grill where we are now serving a delicious new spring menu.

Due to popular demand, lamb shanks and char-grilled local sausages continue to be on the menu. For spring Chef Daniel’s slow-cooked lamb shanks are served with spring vegetables and a mint gremolata. For spring, the char-grilled local beef sausages are served with prosciutto wrapped beans, carrots, and a mushroom sauce.

As a customer of the Hereford Steakhouse Char Grill you can always enjoy great steaks and oysters as they are available 52 weeks of the year. Our steaks are charred for extra flavour and come with a choice of two sides and your favourite sauce. Some new tempting entrée choices on the spring menu include duck and mango salad, chilli garlic prawns, lamb kofta balls and zucchini slice served with a mustard yoghurt drizzle. If you don’t fancy a steak for your main meal, you can enjoy a range of delicious options that include the lamb shanks, beef sausages, chicken Maryland, fish of the day and a spring green vegetable stir-fry with cashews.

We love all things sweet at the Hereford Steakhouse Char Grill and Chef Daniel and his team create our range of desserts on the premises. Our spring desserts include lemon and lime curd tart, black forest cake with ice-cream and crepes filled with strawberries and cream.

At the Hereford Steakhouse Char Grill, you will find options that are gluten-free and suitable for vegetarians. Regardless of the season, our kitchen team headed by Chef Daniel ensures that the best quality ingredients are used in our meals and we source the freshest local fruit and vegetables.
