New summer menu now being served at the Hereford Steakhouse Char Grill

It is hard to believe that spring is gone for the year and December is here! The arrival of December brings with it, thoughts of Christmas and multiple festive celebrations. At the Rest Point Motor Inn and Hereford Steakhouse Char Grill we are looking forward to hosting some lovely Christmas parties and events. As well as looking forward to lots of festive cheer, there is also the new summer menu to enjoy at the Hereford Steakhouse Char Grill! Regardless of the season, our kitchen ensures that top quality ingredients are used along with sourcing the best seasonal fruit and vegetables, so your meals are always delicious.

We always have great steaks and oysters on the menu of the Hereford Steakhouse Char Grill. All our steaks at the Hereford Steakhouse Char Grill are charred for extra flavour and come with a choice of two sides and your favourite sauce. Some new tempting entrée choices on the summer menu include Smoked Salmon on a Potato Rosti, Chinese Salt & Pepper Squid with a Lime Aioli and Chilli Beef Bruschetta with Tomato & Basil Salsa topped with a Basil Reduction. If you don’t fancy a steak, when selecting your main meal, you will be tempted by some delicious options which always included choices for those who are after seafood and vegetarian options. Some of our summer menu items include Lamb Wellington with Asparagus, Parsnip Puree and Red Wine Jus, Red Braised Pork Belly with Apple Slaw and Spicy Chorizo Rice and Eggplant Parmigiana.

We loved finishing our evening with something sweet and one of our espresso coffees, so we always make sure that there are some lovely old-fashioned crowd pleasers on the dessert menu. All our desserts are house-made and are always tempting! Some of our summer dessert menu choices include Vanilla and Rose Water Panna Cotta with a Parmesan Crisp and Segmented Orange in a Sugar Syrup, Chocolate & Honeycomb Sundae, Spiced Red Wine Poached Pear with Roasted Pistachios and Ice-cream.
