We wanted to reassure our customers that we are following all government restrictions and regulations. We have always maintained exemplary hygiene and safety standards at the Rest Point Motor Inn and Hereford Steakhouse Char Grill, and we continue to do so, ensuring that we are a Covid-safe environment.
Winter has arrived in Glen Innes and we have been enjoying some spectacular frosty mornings which have turned Glen Innes into a winter wonderland. We hope to see you soon at the Hereford Steakhouse Char Grill where we are now serving a delicious new winter menu.
Due to popular demand, lamb shanks and char-grilled local sausages are back on the menu. Regardless of the season, our kitchen team headed by Chef Daniel ensures that the best quality ingredients are used in our meals and we source the freshest local fruit and vegetables.
As a customer of the Hereford Steakhouse Char Grill you can always enjoy great steaks and oysters as they are available 52 weeks of the year. Our steaks are charred for extra flavour and come with a choice of two sides and your favourite sauce. Some new tempting entrée choices on the winter menu include chicken satay sticks, Oriental salt and pepper squid with a lime aioli and beef short ribs with a smoky BBQ sauce. If you don’t fancy a steak for your main meal, you can enjoy a range of delicious options that include slow cooked chilli spiced pork belly, slow cooked lamb shank in a red wine and tomato sauce and curried chicken mornay pot pie.
We love all things sweet at the Hereford Steakhouse Char Grill and Chef Daniel and his team create our range of desserts on the premises. A winter dessert menu would not be complete without a sticky date pudding and you will also find spiced red wine poached pears, a chocolate and honeycomb sundae, two-fruit crumble, and a decadent chocolate brownie.
